李天池，四川音乐学院音乐教育系客座教授。 李天池博士现为新加坡管乐协会主席。在获得新加坡公共服务-新加坡交响乐团奖学金 后赴美国东密西根大学修读 音乐系。并在Carter Eggers 及James Underwood两位小号大师 的指导下掌握了高超的小号表演技术。李博士在美国期间也有幸获几位著名指挥家如 Shalom Ronly Riklis教授、Russel Reed及已故的Elizabeth Green夫人的指导。 在1986年考获音乐系学士学位后李博士便回国在新加坡交响乐团担任小号演奏家9年。 在1996年李博士获得李氏基金奖学金后再度赴美国加州University of Pacific深造， 并获得该校音乐教育系颁发的Graduate Assistant奖学金。在修读硕士学位时李博士也当过 大学交响乐团及管乐团的客席指挥，同时也是美国三藩市管乐团的小号演奏家。李博士也在 1997年 夏季“Cazadero”表演艺术营会担任高级导师。 李博士在获得新加坡国立教育学院颁发的博士研究生奖学金后开始了他对新加坡管乐教 育的研究工作并于2004年获得博士学位。 李博士在2001成立了世界管乐协会驻新加坡的分会（现已改名为新加坡管乐协会）并举 办许多有益的管乐活动。在2005年李博士所带领的委员会也成功地在 新加坡举办第12届 WASBE International Conference，此管乐节包括许多优质的管乐音乐会、大师课、展览 会、户外演出等活动。 李博士也在多个音乐组织担任的委员，包括新加坡管乐协会主席、Music Educators National Conference会员、Conductors Guild会员、世界管乐协会(WASBE)委员也曾担任该 协会的董事委员。 评委： -1999、2000、2002年的新加坡青年节全国管乐团比赛 -第10届的Australian International Music Festival担任评委 指挥经验： -新加坡：新加坡国立大学、新加坡理工学院、英华中学（自主）、英华中学（巴克 路）、英华初级学院，淡滨尼初级学院、西韵管乐团（武基巴督联络所）等 -25及26届National Cadet Officer (NCO) Camp担任音乐总监 -2007年受邀到悉尼指挥第11届Australian International Music Festival的World Wind Band -2007年香港、澳门管乐节指挥青年及儿童管乐团 -中国、香港、澳门、哥伦比亚，美国，马来西亚，台湾，泰国，英国等客卿指挥 Dr. Lee Tian Tee graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Music (Trumpet Performance) degree under a four-year Public Service Commission (PSC) / Singapore Symphony Orchestra (SSO) scholarship. Under the tutelage of Mr. Carter Eggers and Mr. James Underwood, he mastered the rudiments of trumpet playing. He then took an interest in conducting and studied the fine art of conducting under renowned mentors including Professor Shalom Ronly Riklis, Mr. Russel Reed and the late Ms Elizabeth Green. When he returned, he served in the Singapore Symphonic Orchestra for nine years. In 1996, Dr. Lee left Singapore for further studies in the University of Pacific in California under the Lee Foundation scholarship. While he was there, he was also awarded the Graduate Assistant Scholarship of the Music Education Department. He also guest-conducted the University Orchestra and the concert Band and served as a trumpeter of the San Francisco Wind Orchestra. In the summer of 1997, he served as the senior faculty of the “Cazadero” Performing Arts Camp. Dr. Lee graduated as a Doctoral Graduate Research Scholar from the National Institute of Education/Nanyang Technological University in 2004, where he had focused his research on Singapore wind band education. In 2001, Dr. Lee founded the Singapore chapter of the World Association of Symphonic Bands and Ensembles (WASBE, now known as the Wind Bands Association of Singapore) which organized numerous activities to promote and educate the local wind bands. In July 2005, he and his team successfully organized the prestigious 12th WASBE International Conference which drew many world-class wind bands and music educators from all over the world. The conference also included a music industry exhibition. Besides being president of the Wind Bands Association of Singapore, Dr. Lee also holds memberships to the Music Educators National Conference (MENC), Conductors Guild. He is also a member and was Board Member of WASBE International. Conducting Experience: -National University of Singapore ,Singapore Polytechnic Band, West-Winds (Band of the Bukit Batok Community Club), Anglo-Chinese School (Independent), Anglo-Chinese Junior College, Tampines Junior College Concert Bands and more -Music Director in the 25th and 26th National Cadet Officer (NCO) Camp for Secondary School Bands -Conductor of the World Wind Band at the 11th Australian International Music Festival -Guest conductor for the 2007 Hong Kong & Macau Band Fair Adjudication Experience -Singapore Youth Festival Central Judging of Concert Bands (Secondary Schools) in 1999 and (Primary Schools) in 2000, 2002 -10th Australian International Music Festival in Sydney
