Liu Shanshan Won the Italian Castel Fedaldo International Accordion Competition

On September 20th, in the 45th Italian Castel Fedaldo International Accordion Competition (PIF) just concluded. Liu Shanshan, a young teacher of the accordion electronic keyboard department, brought her "Tango Quintet" (TANGO QUINTETO LIU SHANSHAN) won the second place in the "ASTOR PIAZZOLLA AWARD" category of 15 groups of players from 11 countries around the world and was the only one won "ALDO PAGANI" (Aldo Pagani) special award in this category at the same time.
The Castel Fedaldo International Accordion Competition in Italy is a type of international competition originally certified by the Ministry of Culture of my country. At the same time, this category was established for the first time this year. Chinese players participated in this category for the first time and won. Due to the global epidemic, the competition was changed to online participation. The preliminary round is a pre-selection of recorded video, and the final is conducted by means of live broadcast and simultaneous recording. This group consists of 7 judges from 4 countries, all of whom are the most influential tango musicians and educators in the world today.
