A. Qualification for Candidates:

1、General advanced-study students: Those hold a high school graduation certificate for equivalent.
2、Three-year college students & undergraduates: Those hold a high school graduation certificate or equivalent, the level of Chinese language should be HSK Grade ￠ù or be able to pass the entrance examination,,
3、Master degree candidates: Those pass the entrance exams for postgraduates in China of graduate from the 4-year college in the same year of admission. Those pass the Chinese language test and the entrance examinations.
4、The Chinese languages students: Those hold a high school graduation certificate or equivalent.

B. Application Procedure:

1、Fill the application form.
2、The Application Form should be accompanied by a passport(photocopy), a health certificate, a notarized certificate of educational background, a criminal record, all of which should be sent to the International Office(IO) of SCCM.
3、After assessments, applicants will receive a notice for the entrance examination.
4、After all the examinations reach the required level, applicants will receive an Admission Notice.
5、Entrance, registration and physical examination should be made at the IO on the day appointed in the Admission Notice.
6、Late arrival should be noticed in written from to IO and permission should be got from the IO.

C. Time for entrance examination

1、Three-year college/undergraduate program: March every year.
2、Master degree program: November for application, next January for entrance examination, and September for entrance.
3、The Chinese language students (non-degree program): June and December for application, and September and next February for entrance. Or application is acceptable in any month.
4.HSK exam should be taken according to the national HSK test.

D．Subject and length of schooling

1. Composition and theory if composition: 4-5 yrs
2. Musical performing:
Conducting(five-year graduate); piano, accordion; double-rowed electronic keyboard(four-year undergraduate);wind and string(four-year undergraduate);traditional musical instrument(four-year undergraduate);vocal music(including opera and musicals, four-year undergraduate);dancing; singing performance ,marketing and management of music art(three-year college or four-year undergraduate);
3. Musicology: four-year undergraduate
4. Art design(including Chinese painting and oil painting, three-year college and four-year graduate);cartoon(four-year undergraduate);sculpture(five-year undergraduate);industrial design(four-year undergraduate);
5. Music education (five0year undergraduate);
6. Film and TV performance (two-year college four-year undergraduate);
7. Broadcasting and TV hosting (two-year college four-year undergraduate);
8. Piano tuning and violin-making (four-year undergraduate);

E. Expense

1. Secondary school student: 15,000 yuan/yr
2. Three-year college student and undergraduate: 21,000 yuan/yr
3. Master degree cabdidate: 27,000 yuan/yr or 10,000 yuan/term
4. General advanced-study students:18,000 yuan/yr
5. 80% of the tuition can be refunded if a student withdraws or transfers to another school before the commencement of a term; 50% of the tuition can be refunded if the student withdraws or transfers to another school after the commencement of a term
6. Accomodation: 3,000 yuan per person per year
7. At the end of the study, tourist activity can be arranged by SCCM but will be charged according to the actual expense.

F .Graduation

After passing the required examination, students will be conferred with the corresponding diploma, graduation certificate, and degree.

G. Others

Sichuan Conservatory of Music reserves the right of final interpretation of the above.
